Rajender Thudum,
NPRD INDIA – Founder
A Three decade journey of struggle
A collection of sacrifices
NPRD INDIA Founder and National President Thudum Rajender garu is not just the head of an organization; he is a social revolution. For the past 30 years, he has been a courageous leader carrying out an untiring war against student movements, revolutionary struggles, and social inequalities. The voice he raised against the oppression in society has today stood as a mountain of support for thousands of Divyang Peoples.
From his student days itself, he raised the flag of rebellion against the injustices in society. He dedicated his life to rooting out social inequalities with revolutionary ideology. No matter how much oppression occurred, how many obstacles were created, or how many cases were filed, he did not take a step back. He is a great person of sacrifice who experienced many internments for public rights and accepted jail life with a smile.
In a way that no one in the country’s history has dared, he is the only great leader who undertook an indefinite hunger strike, staking his life for the rights of Divyang Peoples. The results of the struggle he waged are the increase in pension, the sanctioning of 56,000 new pensions, and providing subsidies to Divyang Peoples in welfare schemes similar to SC and ST categories; specifically, he played a key role in achieving the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act.
He is an extraordinary strategist who knows how to take the movement forward and how to achieve rights from the rulers. To the lakhs of people walking in his footsteps, he is a courage and a guide.
Thudum Rajender garu is not a person.. he is an ideal. His life is a combination of these three: Sacrifice, Struggle, and Victory. Under his leadership, NPRD INDIA stands today like a fortress of self-respect for Divyang Peoples.
